Zalodel Basics

Zalodel is the language spoken by those native to the realm of Zaguh. After many generations of crazed and obsessive occultists, along with supernatural collaboration, much progress has been made into understanding this sacred script.
This writing system is built upon a foundation of individual characters that have their own meanings. There are 18 known markings with individual definitions, known as "Key Symbols", and six notation marks. Pronunciation is given by the IPA system, although some are not able to be spoken by humans and therefore is not perfectly accurate. Only those blessed with the Ability may master it.
Key Symbols:

(ke) Referring to the self. "I" "myself"
(es) Referring directly to another individual. "you" "yourself"
(gʌ) The center or the heart.
(ʒiɹ) Separate from one another, spread apart.
(il) Joined or close together.
( ʃ ) Lower level, beneath, behind.

(ɸu) A position of power, ranking, tier (as in height).
(ʀi) Life, creation (as a result of creating).
(del) A sound, voice, or call.
(vu) Knowledge, the mind.
(lie) High, above, ahead, advanced.
( t͡ʃ ) "and", "as well as".

(za) death, destruction, to pass on (involuntarily, from one dimension to another).
(lɶ) A sign or sigil (as in text).
(ne) Visual idea, the eyes, the concept of sight, an image.
(se) The condition or state of being.
(hʌ) Change, replace.
(ɾu) a general term that refers back to the subject.

Notation Marks:

(n) Makes a word plural.
(ul) Marks a noun as the possessor.
(o) The word becomes a verb.
(ai) Negates the word.
-This is strictly in writing and is not sounded when speaking, although there is speculation that the pronunciation is simply not within the range of human ear.
(t') Ends a phrase. This is purely an aesthetic formality and has no real affect on grammar.
