The Story Thus Far...

In 2018, deep in the countryside of Abbeville, LA, Madasieur Dianne “V” Ashworth (Mx. V) enacted a sacred revival ritual in an attempt to bring back proto-hardcore singer Screamin’ Jay Hawkins. While the ritual was successful, Mx. V failed in bringing the intended soul and Instead ended up summoning a man who calls himself “Dead” Grotti- a ruined door-to-door salesman who died in the 1930s after a series of unfortunate events.       Unable to reverse the summoning, Grotti picked up a pair of drumsticks and was magically bound to serve Mx. V as the drummer for their new punk band Vetus Morbus. Along the way, they picked up a few more creatures such as werewolf ex-Pinkerton guitarist Ryan Channing and the private inspector turned ghostly bassist Emile Carter. They performed their musical rituals up until 2020, when they suspiciously (and conveniently) disappeared from this realm, only leaving behind their studio and live records. And just as mysteriously as they left, Vetus Morbus returned.      Now they are fronted by violinist Sam Iam, alumni of Miskatonic University, powerful occultist, and loyal servant of Zatan. Emile Carter's business is left unfinished as more mysteries arise, Including that of the unusual disappearance of Mx. V. Ryan Channing. He has since been replaced by a new mysterious character, who's name and face is to be revealed in October 2025 upon Vetus Morbus' return to the stage.
